Flaky Business is a No No!

Today on yahoo news I saw an article about Do-It-Yourself Hair Remedies and this particular one caught my eye because I have a flaky scalp and I hate it! But I've tried everything from T-Gel to head and shoulders. T-Gel worked really good for me but is expensive. I got head and shoulders and that seemed to be doing the trick but now it's not. I never use to have this flaky of hair and it's driving me nuts! I get out of the shower and BAM! Flakes! >.<

Anyway, I saw in the article "Feed Your Head" and here's what was said:

"You can’t have full, bouncy hair without a healthy scalp," says Goddard-Clark. To reduce excess oil, dampen a cotton ball with witch hazel, dab it along your hairline and part, and rinse hair with cool water. Fight flakes weekly by adding five drops of tea-tree oil to your favorite shampoo as a booster. Skip conditioner, though, and apply a detangler only to the ends of your hair — your scalp may be sensitive after this treatment.

I noticed it said to flight flakes add tea-tree oil to your shampoo. I think I might actually try this. My co-worker mentioned to me that she might have some at home and she can't use it because she's allergic. Lucky for me, I get a free bottle. Woot!

The Body Shop's Tea-Tree Oil for $9.00

I'm going to have to give this a try because I really hate having flakes. It's embarrassing and even when I scrub real hard, there's still flakes! Ugh.

Do you guys know any other things I could do to get rid of flaky hair??
