Free Eyelashes!

My free eyelashes finally arrived in the mail the other day! I'm stoked! I've never tried fake eyelashes before and I'm excited to be able to try them for free. Yay!

The eyelashes were part of a promotion from the born pretty store. Here is the link to their store. If you follow their facebook regularly then you know that they do promotions every so often for free products. This is my first free product from them and I am excited to try them out! These eyelashes are really cute, I'm just not a big fan of the little flowers on them but I'm sure I can just easily remove them. Also with these, I'll have to purchase some glue to be able to wear them. Aren't they cute?! I can't wait to try them out!

Free Polish And Other Goodies!

Hi Ladies!

I just wanted to share with all of you a great way to get your hands on some free makeup along with other items like books, electronics and pet stuff! I started doing this only due to the fact that since I'm the only one working and I have no extra money to myself to spend on makeup or whatever else I want, it's a great way for me to get some extra money and pamper just ME.

Happy Easter Everyone!! I hope everyone has a great day!

My mom always sends us candy for Easter. So I thought I'd share with you what she sent.

 

The candy she sent is candy from the 80s which some of it I was really wondering if it was from the 80s or not. lol.

It has razzles, fun dip, candy necklace, ring pop, push pop, hersheys bar, automic fire ball gum, jaw breakers, boston baked beans and so on! I <3 Candy!

Mini Target Haul

Today my friend Lauren and I went to Target to get some nail polish that I had a coupon for. I actually saw this post on The Coupon Posse'.

She posted up a coupon for NYC nail or lip products. $1 off one product! Not bad. Well Target right now has then at $1.76. So minus the $1 coupon and it's $0.76 cents. With Tax it's $0.78 cents!

What a bargain for a nail polish. That's cheaper than some of those little mini bottles.

Moving on. These are the two nail polishes I got for $0.78 cents each because I printed up 2 coupons and did two different transactions.

Sorry for the some what horrible pictures. I don't have the fancy camera on me so I actually had to use the flash to get the colors to look like how they do in real life.

Anyway, the colors are gray and a really pretty somewhat sparkly pink with blue sparkles (I guess). I've been looking for a gray nail polish that was cheap so I could actually see how gray nails look on me and of course I wanted another pink nail polish because my medicine cabinet is over run with greens lol.

Anyway, go get your coupon and go buy some cheap nail polish!!

I guess the support wasn't there ...

I wanted to be able to say thanks to everyone who voted for me but since no one voted...I can't say thank you. I'm patiently waiting to see if I won or if this other guy one. e.l.f Lip Stain: First Date

Hello Ladies! It's been awhile!

I purchased a new product today which is shocking because I basically banned myself from buying any makeup products until my boyfriend gets a job.

Well, this lip stain by e.l.f was only $1 at the Dollar store and I couldn't help but pick it up to try.

I'm not 100% sure if I like this yet or not. It's one of those items that you don't really know if you should like it or hate it.

Pros:

Says it's long lasting and I wore it for a little while today and it seems pretty long lasting

Really pretty pink coral like color with slight gold sparkles

Can be worn with or without the gloss

Cons:

Lip stain stinks! I was like "woo this smells horrible!"

Tubes get really messy when you close them..I feel like I'm constantly wiping excess product off of the tube.

I will try to put up some pictures later of it on my lips so you all can see it.

Have any of you ladies tried these lip stains by e.l.f? What was your opinion?

It's Been Awhile: Oh Noes!

Sorry everyone! I've kinda been MIA from blogging the past few days (well almost a week). One of my best friends from Arizona (Phoenix to be exact) is here visiting and I've been trying to make time to see her along with working. That doesn't leave much time for blogging. Plus without a lot of money, I haven't purchased any new makeup or other products. 

I wanted to post some pictures of what I've been doing the last couple of days. I know a couple of you are on my facebook and you've probably seen some of those pictures. I'll share the rest with all of you here.

The awesome thing of the past two days is that I did my makeup really well and actually looked pretty cute. lol. Not trying to sound conceited..but when dealing with low self-esteem it's a rarity for me to say I actually look pretty lol.

 I actually made the little hair clip I'm wearing and my boyfriends dad and step mom got me the necklace.

The day was all good until a Seagull pooped on my head. So I had to go to the ladies restroom and wash my hair with hand soap and walked out of the restaurant with wet matted hair. Not a fun experience. But I did take a picture of it..just not posting it up on here.

FOTD: April 9th, 2011

I wanted to do a really purple/pink look today for going out! I absolutely love pinks! Can't you tell? Hehe.

 

To achieve this look I used the following products:

Urban Decay Primer Potion

Maybelline FitMe Foundation in Ivory

Urban Decay Sustainable Eye shadow palette

Maybelline Volume Express Mascara

Maybelline Concealer in Ivory

Coastal Scents Prism Palette

No name makeup palette

and my makeup brushes

To start my face of the day, I began with the foundation and blended that all over my face and jaw line so I didn't have marks were you can see it wasn't blended. I think that's one of my biggest pet peeves. Seeing people not blend their foundation good enough.

 Next I took the concealer and applied that under my eyes due to dark circles and lack of sleep.

 To start with the eyeshadow: I used my urban decay primer potion all over my lids. The first color I started with was the lavender color at the bottom. I used that color all over my lid and crease.






The second color I used was the purple color above it and I put that over half of my lid.


Then I chose the dark purple color "Flash" for my crease and outer v. I personally love this color and it's very pigmented compared to my coastal scents palette.

Next step: I chose this really pretty pink blush to apply to my cheeks. Since it's so pigmented I have to be careful and not OVER apply. I don't want to look like a clown.

Sorry for the dirty lipstick next to it. lol. I don't know what's up with that one and the one in the picture below has a strand of brush hair in it. LOL.

To finish this look I used a really pretty medium purple lipstick that really looked pink when I took pictures. I actually like wearing bright lipsticks now. It's crazy. I've never really been a lipstick person but I love it now!

Hopefully sometime soon I can purchase the Candy Yum Yum lipstick from Mac. I'm in L-O-V-E
