Herrow! - Name Change Help!

Hi Ladies

So I've already talked to you all about switching my blog over from just makeup to pretty much posting about everything again...Well I would love it if you guys could help me come up with a new creative name for my blog. A little weird right? Asking for help of a blog title. But I really want someone fun and something new, other than "Makeup my life with color".

If you could just leave a comment telling me what some good title's would be that would be awesome! 

My blog will be about photography, food, makeup, my kitty and just everything in between. So leave me your ideas and comments!! Thanks!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm just a tad bit late on posting this but .....


Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!!

I hope you all had a great dinner and spent time with your loved ones and families! My family lives in California and Missouri so I don't get to see anyone but I did get to spend my Thanksgiving with close friends and my boyfriend. Our friend Nick invited us over to his mom's house for dinner and I brought two pumpkin pies and a green bean casserole. We had turkey, casserole, stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls and tons upon tons of desserts!! There were 3 pumpkin pies, chocolate chip cookies, german chocolate cake, tres leche cake, some other chocolate cake and gingerbread cookies.

My Trip To San Antonio!! :3

Hello Ladies, those that are still around! lol. I went to San Antonio, TX over the weekend with some of my friends, no boyfriend, and it was amazing! I had such a blast! We went to a car meet first called Cupcake Meet and my friends cousin entered the cupcake contest and got 2nd place even though we all thought she should have won. Oh well. The next day we went to the Japanese Tea Gardens and it was so pretty. There were a bunch of Koi fish and I love Koi! From there we went to the Riverwalk which is basically a river and there are all sorts of shops and restaurants along it. I didn't realize how big it was until we went on a boat tour. After the Riverwalk excursion, we went back to my friends cousin's house and smoked hookah and then played Just Dance 2-3 on the wii! It was the most fun I've had in weeks!! Dallas Trip Part 1

Sorry I have been a little M.I.A lately. The boyfriend, Ashley, Nick and I went up to Dallas/Fort Worth for a car event this past weekend and I've been really busy before and after that event. Haven't found much time to blog but I will try to blog at least once a week.

1.) Mood:

 It's pretty much been one of those days [weeks] where I just want to jump off a cliff. I have been depressed, not wanting to eat really and just stressed beyond belief. So my mood is pretty much blah right now.

2.) What do you hear right now?

 Rap music out in the warehouse and my fan sitting next to me.

3.) Do you have any tattoos?

I do not. I'm not sure if I'll ever get one or not because I don't know what I would want.

4.) Current nail polish:

Nothing. I haven't painted my nails in a long time, simply because I'm just too lazy to keep up with it.

5.) What is your favorite pair of shoes?

Probably my purple checkered vans. I tend to wear them everywhere!

6.) Current outfit:

Purple checkered vans, Old Navy jeans, old navy tank top [pink] and my Bullrito's shirt. Nothing too fancy. Just comfy!

7.) Do you collect anything?

I don't really collect anything anymore. Besides photos but I will eventually be scrapbooking those.

8.) What is your favorite perfume (or body/soap scent if you don't wear perfume)?

Probably Very Sexy by Victoria's Secret [for now]. I want to get the Katy Perry perfume that is the cat shaped bottle.

9.) Do you feel younger or older than your current age?

I feel older. My bf is 30 and I'm 24 and I think I act way older than he does. I'm always worrying about money, bills, cars, just everything pretty much and when it comes down to certain activities and such, I'm more mature.

10.) Weekly goals:

Go to Petsmart and use all 9 of my coupons for Free Cat Treats. I pretty much have 9 coupons for 1 free bag of cat treats and Petsmart has a coupon for BOGO and so I can get 2 bags free. Meaning, if I use all 9 coupons I'll have 18 bags of cat treats for free. I'm going to donate quite a few of them since I just have one kitty. Other than that I need to catch up on the bills and get some more sleep

Skintimate Cream Shave [Not a Gel] Review

Hello Ladies! I know I said I was moving out of the beauty products world and into just doing a regular blog but I couldn't help but give a review on this. Most of the reviews I've read are negative. People seem to really hate this cream because it's that, a cream, not a gel. Well I'm here to set you all straight! 

Skintimate Cream Shave:
I picked this bottle up for FREE at CVS by using a $1 off manufacturer's coupon and a $1 off CVS coupon. Score! 

This was my first time using a "cream" shave product. I've always stuck with just the gel ones because....well, I don't know. HaHa!

Anyway, This smells exactly like flower petals. I'm not sure I'd say I loved the smell but it was better than a full on rose garden which I know some shave gels do smell like that. I'm more of a passion fruit or candy smelling product type of girl.

Most people complained about this product being more of a lotion form than a shaving product. I don't fully agree with that. It comes out of the container like a lotion but when you spread it on your legs, arms or underarms, it's more of a satiny smooth cream rather than a lotion that pretty much goes on and doesn't hardly wipe off.

I personally didn't see anything wrong with this shave cream. It doesn't lather up like that of the gel form but it does spread really nicely and you don't have to use a ton.

I did hear a lot of people complaining about getting more nicks and cuts with this over the gel form. I didn't seem to have a problem using this cream. I have no nicks or cuts and it did make my legs really soft afterwards due to the vitamin E and soy.


 Would I buy this product again? I probably would, as long as there was another scent I could get. This scent does leave a nice, clean smell on you but like I said above....I <3 candy and fruity smells over flowery smells.

I don't see why I wouldn't buy this product again. The negative reviews on this didn't really pop up when I was using it. Therefore, I see no reason in why someone else couldn't fall in love with this shave cream. If you're out and about and need a new shave cream, try this one and let me know what your opinions are, you might just like it too!

Packaging:

I'd have to say that I actually like the packaging. It has a cut flower pop-open opening and it's made entirely of plastic.

Sometimes I don't like the can ones because if they fall on your feet, it hurts! This will still hurt but not as much! Big perk!

 Product [Texture]:

The cream comes out of the tube nicely and the consistency is that of a lotion. However, less thick.

The overall texture of this cream is smooth. I know some creams kind of have a rougher texture to them, this one does not. It's smooth all the way through!

The End:

Overall, this is a great product. Others may think differently than I do but in the end, it's all based on what you, the consumer, thinks!

No one can tell you "oh hey, that product sucks" because in the end it could have sucked for them and it could be the best thing ever for you. Each one of us is different and we are affected differently by different products. I hope you all enjoyed my review. Let me know if you've used this product and also what you think about this product!
